Kindergarten Jumpstart Summer Program: August 17-18
August 17th and 18th from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
Do you have a new kindergartener who will be attending Capitol View this fall? This is a huge step for children and parents. We’d like to help your child adjust by providing an opportunity to “practice” being a kindergartener. On August 17th and 18th we will offer a jumpstart program so the new kindergarten students can become acquainted with the staff and the building before they have to tackle full days and a building brimming with hundreds of other people.
The teachers will also begin to identify the social, emotional, and academic needs of the students so they are best equipped to serve them on the first day of school. In addition, your child will get a head start on learning basic school routines such as restroom, lunchroom, and playground procedures and rules.
This is a great opportunity for your child and should ease the transition into starting school. Please call the office at 242-8402 and enroll your child now. This program is offered to all new kindergarten students and is free. Please pass the word to neighbors who may have a child entering kindergarten.

Programa de Verano Del Jardin de Niños Jumpstar

¿Tiene un estudiante que estará en el Jardín de Niños para el próximo año escolar? Este es un gran paso tanto para los estudiantes como para los padres de familia. Nos gustaria ayudar a su hijo/a a adaptarse al proveer la oportunidad de “practicar” ser un estudiante del Jardín de Niños. . El 17 y 18 de Agosto estaremos ofreciendo el programa de jumpstart para todos los nuevos estudiantes del Jardin de Niños, para que de esta manera se familiarizen con el personal y el edificio antes de lanzarlos todo el dia completo, con la escuela llena de cientos de estudiantes.
También los maestros podrán empezar a identificar las necesidades sociales, emocionales y académicas de los estudiantes, para que esta manera estén mejor equipados y les puedan servir mejor el primer día de escuela. Además su estudiante tendrá una ventaja de aprender las rutinas básicas de la escuela tales como ir al baño, comedor, las reglas y los procedimientos del patio del recreo. Esta es una gran oportunidad para que a su hijo/a se le facilite el cambio para empezar la escuela. Para inscribir a su hijo/a, llene el formulario que se encuentra abajo. Este programa está disponible para todos los estudiantes que asistirán al Kinder y es totalmente gratuito. Favor de correr la voz a sus vecinos que tengan hijos/as que asistiran al Jardin de Niños.
