Title 1 School FAQ
Title I
Capitol View Elementary is a Title I school. The Title I program provides supplemental educational services so that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education. Title I schools are determined based on the income level in the area. Capitol View Elementary is considered a Schoolwide Title I program. This means that ALL students are considered Title I students. The Schoolwide plan is intended to improve the achievement of ALL students. The Title I program is to supplement instruction and not supplant it. Therefore, services and resources provided by Title I are in addition to other offerings and not in place of them.
If, at any time, you have questions or feedback regarding Capitol View’s Title I program, please contact the principal, Marsha Kerper at 242-8402 or Marsha.Kerper@dmschools.org
