My name is Nancy Galloway. I was born and lived in Colombia, South America, for the first 30 years of my life. I came to the University of Kansas to learn English. After learning English, I earned a degree in ESL (English as a Second Language) in 1992.I have been married to Jim Galloway since 1994. We have two boys David and Alejandro. Both gentlemen have finished high school and now are studying to pursue a professional diploma. Jim and I enjoy going to musical concerts and movies. I have been a teacher for 33 years and 16 of them I have worked as an ELL teacher at Capitol View School. I enjoy my job so much that it is my dream to work for this elementary school until the time for retirement calls at my door. It is my desire to keep a close relationship with my students and their parents. Please do not hesitate to call me if you want to talk to me for any reason. The best time to call is after three o’clock so I can give you my full attention.
